My artistic practice centers on the interplay between material, physicality, and space. I am concerned with the moment itself—with that which is immediately present: the way elements touch, the tension of non-touching, and the rhythm emerging from repetition, interstices, and contact surfaces.
I am drawn to materials in their own right—their forms, colors, and the spatial relationships they inhabit. To investigate them, I detach them from their functional contexts, probing their sculptural qualities to reimagine them in new frameworks. Here, thinking occurs through the body: tactile intuition, physical strength, the acts of bending, breaking, rolling, squeezing, stretching, and pulling.
In these emerging moments, I seek a tangible physical and emotional resonance. I am fascinated by how the smallest nuances, when given deliberate attention, can create a profound difference in the quality of movement or touch. I search for forms that give these moments space to exist.
A vital role is played by the balance of stillness and movement—consonance and dissonance, rhythm and arrhythmia, repetition and deviation. In my work, the intuitive immediacy of perception and execution always takes precedence over cognitive planning. It is a silent, attentive exploration of material, physical, and spatial relations.
